Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

These Terms of Service are a contract between you and ZWIP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17122718, registered office Independence House, 14a Nelson Street, Southend-on-Sea, SS1 1EF) which operates the ZWIP platform at zwip.co.uk ("ZWIP", "we", "us").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ZWIP ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ZWIP provides an AI-powered PLAB 2 practice platform that helps international medical graduates and other doctors prepare for the PLAB 2 OSCE. The Service includes practice stations with AI simulated patients, structured feedback against the PLAB 2 marking domains, mock exams, and progress tracking. It is an educational tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the General Medical Council.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Subscription and Payments

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

  • Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals

Your consumer rights. If you are a consumer in the UK, you may have a statutory right to cancel a purchase within 14 days. Because our membership gives you immediate access to digital content and services, by starting to use the Service within that period you acknowledge that your right to cancel may be lost. This does not affect any statutory rights that cannot be excluded. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Refunds. Payment for a subscription is a commitment for ZWIP to provision capacity and usage for you in advance. Subscriptions and payments are therefore non-refundable and non-transferable. Refunds are not provided except in exceptional circumstances, and any such refund is granted solely at the discretion of ZWIP (zwip.co.uk). This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable law that cannot be excluded. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Share your account with others
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Service
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by ZWIP and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. Medical Disclaimer

The Service is intended for educational and training purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The AI examiner responses are simulated and should not be relied upon for actual clinical decision-making.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZWIP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZWIP and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Referral Programme

From time to time we offer a referral programme. When you refer someone using your unique link or invite, both you and the person you refer may receive a credit of free voice minutes once they start and pay for a qualifying membership of three months or longer.

  • The standard reward is 30 voice minutes to each party per successful referral.
  • Credited minutes do not expire but have no cash value and are non-transferable.
  • Rewards are granted only after the referred person's qualifying payment succeeds. There is no limit on the number of people you may refer.
  • You may not refer yourself, create fake or duplicate accounts, or otherwise abuse the programme. If a qualifying payment is later refunded or the membership is cancelled within its committed period, the related credit may be reversed.
  • We may change, suspend, or withdraw the referral programme, or vary the reward, at any time at our discretion.

14. Analytics and Cookies

We measure how the Service is used with a privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics tool (Umami) that is cookieless — it sets no cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personal data. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising cookies. The only cookies we set are those that are strictly necessary for the Service to work or that remember your preferences, so no cookie consent banner is required. See our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy for details.

15. Contact

If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact ZWIP LTD at info@zwip.co.uk, or by post at Independence House, 14a Nelson Street, Southend-on-Sea, SS1 1EF.
