Who writes our content
ZWIP’s PLAB 2 guides are produced by our clinical editorial team — clinicians and educators with direct experience of the UK OSCE and of supporting international medical graduates. Articles are published under the ZWIP Clinical Editorial Team rather than ghost-written personal bylines, and we do not attribute content to fabricated individual authors.
How we research
Our clinical guidance is grounded in authoritative UK sources. Where we make a clinical claim, we aim to align it with, and link to, primary references such as the General Medical Council, NICE Clinical Knowledge Summaries, and NHS health information. We describe the exam itself in line with the GMC’s published information about PLAB 2.
How we review and update
- Every guide is reviewed before publication for clinical accuracy and exam relevance.
- We record a “last reviewed” date and revisit guides as guidance or the exam format changes.
- We never fabricate statistics, testimonials or ratings; we only publish figures we can stand behind.
What our content is — and is not
Our guides are educational resources to help you prepare for PLAB 2. They are not personal medical advice, and they do not reproduce confidential exam material or examiner mark schemes. Always confirm exam logistics, fees and eligibility directly with the GMC, as these change over time.
Corrections
If you spot something that looks out of date or inaccurate, we want to know. Email us via the contact page and we will review it promptly and update the guide where needed.
