PREVENT
A UK safeguarding programme aimed at protecting people at risk of being drawn into terrorism or radicalisation, with a duty on healthcare staff to raise concerns.
PREVENT is framed as safeguarding, not policing — the response to a concern is referral and support, similar to other vulnerability pathways.
