Modern slavery and trafficking
The exploitation of people through forced labour, servitude, or trafficking. Clinicians may be the first to spot signs and should know how to raise a concern.
Indicators include controlling companions, fear, and inconsistent stories. Recognising it as a safeguarding issue and escalating appropriately is what matters.
